- Owner information
- Full name, Address (required for scheduling and travel planning), Phone numbers (text friendly), Email address
- Pet information
- Name, species, age, and brief reason for the visit
- Veterinary medical records
Prior records (vaccines, lab work, diagnostics, specialist notes) are strongly encouraged and ideally submitted in advance.
Once the above information is received:
- A deposit will then be collected to reserve the appointment time.
- A treatment plan will be emailed for preventive care services recommended.
- This ensures clear expectations, transparency, and informed consent prior to the visit.
Appointment Guidelines & What to Expect
Before the Appointment
- Veterinary records should be submitted in advance whenever possible.
- Fear-free medications should be given if your pet has needed them in the past. (And we will discuss a plan moving forward).
- Appointments take place in a quiet, safe environment designed to minimize stress.
- You may be asked to assist with gentle restraint or comfort when safe and appropriate.
- Tasty treats are encouraged and often used to create positive associations.
- A quiet room and calm atmosphere are always the goal.
During the Appointment
- A thorough but efficient physical exam is performed to reduce stress while still delivering quality care.
- Discussion may include:
- Vaccines
- Preventive care recommendations
- Lab work
- Pain management, including medications and laser therapy
After the Appointment
- A follow-up medical record with detailed recommendations will be emailed.
- Medications, preventives, and supplements may be ordered through the online pharmacy.
Scheduling, Deposits & Cancellations
- A deposit is required to hold all appointments.
- At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Communication Guidelines
- Texting may be used for urgent concerns; responses are provided within 24 hours.
- Please download the Digitail app for streamlined communication, access to medical records, and updates.
- Email is best for general or non-urgent questions; responses are typically within 1–3 business days.
